4. Finally Move On From Rusev/Summer Rae Saga
Vince McMahon was reportedly furious when he heard Rusev and Lana had announced their real-life engagement via social media. Of course, this outright kills the ongoing story involving Summer Rae and the big Bulgarian, because it outs that situation as fake. The past few months of this particular angle have been terrible, so it's time for WWE to move on from it for good. Hopefully, due to the fact the pair are now confirmed love birds on WWE TV, Rusev and Lana will simply be put back together. The situation needs resolved. On Smackdown, there was some payback for Summer towards Rusev, when she officiated his match against Dolph Ziggler. It looks like WWE see some mileage in the story between Dolph and Summer, so Rusev doesn't need to be involved. On Raw, Rusev was punished on screen. Losing to Ryback in just a few short minutes, he was then lambasted verbally by Rae. At the start of the year, the guy was threatening to enter the main event scene. Now, due to horrible booking, he's struggling in the mid card pack. WWE must find a way to rescue Rusev from this situation on Raw, because he has way more to offer.
