Emerging amidst the frenzy, Shane McMahon could call for calm and remind both teams what is at stake. Ignoring him, Enzo & Cass and The Vaudevillains would continue brawling, before Shane made an oddly heel-like statement threatening to throw both of them out of the tournament and call it a draw.

That would grab the warring wrestler's attention, allowing Shane to explain himself. Knowing the Raw crowd wouldn't be too happy with his words, he could say that he's nonetheless prepared to make a tough decision. At Payback, the teams will do battle once more, with the winner facing The New Day later on the same night for the WWE Tag-Team Titles.

Such a match could take place on the Kickoff portion of the broadcast, or would provide a red-hot opener for the pay-per-view itself. Straight away, there would be bad blood between both units, and they could pick up where they left off. The bout would have a pre-built story, which can only help it seem more important.
