3. Roman Reigns Spears Rollins After Seth Beats Sami Zayn

In a short backstage segment following this match, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens could come face to face. There, they would trade insults about losing cleanly to Seth Rollins and Finn Balor respectively. This could be the beginning of a slow-burning level of acceptance and kinship between the pair, keeping their story ticking along.

As for the match itself, there's no harm in having Zayn drop to Rollins. Seth is going into the WWE Universal Title bout at SummerSlam, so he's a major player and a focal point of Raw. Besides, it also gives Roman Reigns the chance to show a meaner attitude (now it finally looks like WWE are going to stop banging their heads against a brick wall with him) and attack Rollins.

Last week, Roman said - post defeat to Balor - that he didn't want Rollins to win at SummerSlam. There's clearly still an agenda there to work with, and that would come in the form of an impactful Spear on Raw from Reigns to Seth.

As Reigns stood tall over his rival, the familiar music of one Finn Balor would start to play.
