10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Jan 18)

9. Kevin Owens Defeats Neville

At the Royal Rumble, Kevin Owens will meet Dean Ambrose for the WWE Intercontinental Title in a Last Man Standing Match. That bout could threaten to steal the show, and the company have thus far done an excellent job in building both as strong characters. Before meeting Ambrose, Owens will have revenge on his mind against Neville. A few weeks ago, the high-flying Englishman defeated Owens in quick fashion, before being beaten down by the man post-match. On the most recent episode of Smackdown, Neville managed to hit the Red Arrow on KO following a tag-team match main event. Aided by his partner, Ambrose, Neville fought off Owens and Sheamus, before nailing the Intercontinental Title challenger with the move. It wouldn't be stretching things to have another match between both men on Raw, there's an issue there. Ideally, the bout would be longer than the last one, and would end in a Kevin Owens win. Neville should look competitive, but there's no way Owens should be losing before the Royal Rumble.
