10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Jan 18)

3. The Usos & Chris Jericho Face The New Day

The 'Highlight Reel' made a return to Monday Night Raw during the last episode, and actually wound up being fairly entertaining. Sometimes, WWE 'talk show' segments can feel a little dry, but there was enough life and banter from The Usos, The New Day and Chris Jericho to make things worthwhile. This could lead to another confrontation on Raw. WWE fans would likely enjoy seeing Jericho in action before he enters the 30-man Royal Rumble match. Teaming with Jimmy and Jey Uso would be just the ticket there, the trio would match up well against Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods. Last time on Raw, Y2J stayed around ringside to watch The Usos face New Day, it's time he stepped in the ring himself. When he's in there with performers that seem to inspire him, Jericho can still be a wonderful addition to shows. Occasionally during his various WWE returns, he hasn't always set the world on fire, but it seems logical to imagine there's no way this match could fail. The Usos would win, backing up the next segment of the show.
