7. Cesaro Muscles In On United States Title Hunt

On SmackDown, Cesaro ousted Alberto Del Rio following a pretty darn intense match. The bout opened the program in fine fashion, and it was great to see the Swiss grappler given a clean win. Now is the time to capitalise on that momentum, by shifting Cesaro into a proper feud.

There's still something to be said for a friendly rivalry with Sami Zayn, but that's one that can easily be placed on the back burner for now. Instead, it'd be nice to see Cesaro locking horns with another guy WWE are trying to rebuild, Rusev. Titus O'Neil, whilst adequate, just doesn't cut it as his challenger.

Fans have already witnessed Rusev comprehensively beating Titus, why should he get another shot at the gold? Putting a twist on O'Neil's latest role, Rusev could batter him on Raw, leading to the save from Cesaro.

By standing up for O'Neil, Cesaro would look noble, but he'd also then have reason to pursue the WWE United States Title. Rusev vs. Cesaro at Battleground sounds a whole lot better than a Rusev vs. Titus O'Neil reprise.
