2. Dean Ambrose Beats Chris Jericho

This would be the match set up earlier by Shane McMahon. Demanding he be in the WWE World Heavyweight Title picture, Chris Jericho was given a shot at Dean Ambrose. Should be manage to defeat the reigning champion, Y2J would be entered into the title match at Battleground. Of course, that wouldn't end up being the end result.

The whole thing would be elaborate set up for an Ambrose win, one that helps further establish his dominance at the top of the card. In a refreshing moment, Seth Rollins is nowhere to be found, with announcers declaring that he had been ominously quiet for the entire broadcast.

For the purpose of adding drama, Jericho should come close to defeating Ambrose. At some points throughout the bout, he could even reference the thumbtack spot from Extreme Rules, getting more mileage out of the sickening bump.

Following a lengthy tussle, it'd be Ambrose who emerged with a vital win. As he celebrated with fans, he'd then disappear through the crowd (allowing the announcers to talk about Roman Reigns) and the camera would follow him to the back.
