Much like Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte, this is a match those who tune into Raw have seen before. In the show's main event, Seth Rollins finally gets to try and put Chris Jericho out of his mind. Should the babyface win against Y2J, Jericho will be banned from Roadblock entirely, theoretically clearing the path for Seth to beat Kevin Owens.

Referencing his mantra from last week, Mick Foley says he won't bother trying to ban anyone from ringside tonight. After all, things must be settled - one way or another - on this particular episode. That becomes important later on.

As the match nears conclusion, Kevin Owens tries to help out his friend Chris Jericho. At a disadvantage, Rollins fights valiantly against the odds. From out of nowhere, Roman Reigns comes down the ramp and tries to even the playing field. Suddenly, it goes horrendously wrong for the babyface side.

Seth would be trying to oust Owens from the ring, therefore standing behind him. Aiming a Superman Punch at KO, Reigns inadvertently clocks Rollins when Owens moves and Jericho rolls Seth up.

In effect, Roman had cost Rollins what he wanted come Roadblock.
