10 Booking Steps For WWE Raw (Oct 10)

Of course, Kevin Owens would be in no real hurry to sign anything. Before putting pen-to-paper and letting the ink dry on any proposed deal for a title rematch at Hell In A Cell, the reigning WWE Universal Champion would realistically want some assurances. In other words, the heel would want things stacked in his favour.

Attacked by Seth Rollins, Owens would then find a contract sitting in the ring. As the heel champ threatened to tear it up, Mick Foley makes his way out onto the entrance ramp. Warning Owens against such disrespectful behaviour, the General Manager of Raw asks Owens what it would take to have him sign.

Answering quickly, KO says he wants Chris Jericho as the Special Guest Referee. Calling that impossible, Foley then watches in horror as his top titleholder literally rips up his main event for the upcoming pay-per-view and throws pieces of torn paper high into the air.

Not only does this buy WWE some time to potentially announce that match the following week, it also feeds into the idea that Foley has lost control of everything on Raw.
