10 Booking Steps For WWE SmackDown
3. Another Win For Heavy Machinery
While I'm mopping up the mess of WWE's booking problems with one hand, and shoveling it back up their funnels with the other, let's fix tag team wrestling while we're here.
The Revival are excellent Tag Team Champions and it wouldn't take much to build a fascinating feud with Heavy Machinery. The duo was given the illustrious Madison Square Garden squash spot and have been on a great run on TV for the last few weeks. All we need here is a number 1 contender match (I mean, sh*t, you could even do it against Harper and Rowan and have Reigns and Bryan interfere as an act of revenge) and put them in the title picture for Hell in a Cell.
The potential chemistry between the two teams is relatively unknown at this stage, but between them there's enough in-ring nous and good faith with the fans to make something work. Plus, if nothing else, it's a return to some engaging and exciting tag team wrestling, so it doesn't have to be perfect to be worth doing.
