2. Return At The Rumble
If there's one thing that WWE have gotten right with Dean Ambrose (and lately it's quite hard to think of more than one thing), it's his hugely-anticipated Night Of Champions 2014 return. He'd been off of TV after having his head curb-stomped through cinder blocks by Rollins, and Reigns' real-life hernia made it all the more satisfying for him to return and kick Rollins' ass. This time the ass he'd be kicking would be that which belongs to Reigns himself, as a return at the Royal Rumble would garner a huge reaction from the audience and an instant sense of direction towards Wrestlemania; something which has lacked in previous years. Some of the best Rumble matches are the ones that are kind of unpredictable until the last minute when someone makes a heart-stopping return, such as John Cena in 2008 or Edge in 2010. As soon as both men's music hit, it became incredibly obvious that they were going to win, but in a way that was more exciting than it was obvious. Ambrose could have the same thing here; coming into the match at around the #20 mark, making a huge impact by eliminating the entire field, before finally throwing the #19 entry, Roman Reigns, over the top rope. Perhaps even have Ambrose break Reign's elimination record, because that in itself proves a huge victory for the Lunatic Fringe, whilst Reigns still gets to look good by managing the final two for three years running.
