Having vanished from TV since his loss at Summerslam, a returning Roman Reigns makes a beeline for the ring, emerging from the crowd and standing on the ring apron to distract Ambrose (and the referee) enough for Rollins to hit the champion with a low blow, before curb stomping him to defeat. After the match, Rollins aims to leave but eats a spear from an unhinged Reigns, before the Samoan superstar makes his way over to Ambrose's limp body.
