10 Booking Steps To A Shield Triple Threat At WrestleMania 32
4. Championship Reigns
Rollins cashes in his rematch clause at the next pay-per-view, Night of Champions. The match is a classic encounter between two of the best wrestlers in the WWE, and sees both men go back and forth with false finishes and huge spots against one another. Having vanished from TV since his loss at Summerslam, a returning Roman Reigns makes a beeline for the ring, emerging from the crowd and standing on the ring apron to distract Ambrose (and the referee) enough for Rollins to hit the champion with a low blow, before curb stomping him to defeat. After the match, Rollins aims to leave but eats a spear from an unhinged Reigns, before the Samoan superstar makes his way over to Ambrose's limp body. Hearing the chorus of boos that greet him, Reigns proceeds to beat the living daylights out of Ambrose, finally finishing him off with a powerbomb through the announce table.
