10 Bray Wyatt Matches We Never Got In WWE

4. Samoa Joe

WrestleMania 32 Bray Wyatt Brock Lesnar

Talk about two behemoths who would absolutely smash and bash the hell out of each other.

They did just that at Extreme Rules 2017 which feels an age ago now. In this match, Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe competed against Finn Balor, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, in a 5-way blockbuster for the right to challenge Universal Champion Brock Lennar at the next months Great Balls Of Fire pay-per-view. As the contest’s two heavyweights, Bray and Joe aligned for a strong portion of the fight, but this would be short-lived, and when they began laying into each other it was sweaty, it was intense, but it was awesome. Their face-off expertly whetted the appetite for a properly hyped singles match down the road, but it never worked out.

WWE repeatedly dropped the ball with both powerhouses, but with Joe back in NXT there could be light at the end of his tunnel, butr it remains a bummer that these two colossi never collided. Also, for all his credentials as a super hoss machine in the ring, Samoa Joe can produce some of the most villainous promos in the game, whereas Bray Wyatt’s gifts on the stick don’t warrant a reminder. A battle of beef inside the squared circle, and a war of words outside it, is a huge recipe for success.

It could still happen one day outside of WWE’s walls.
