10 Bridge Burners You Will Never See In WWE Again
7. Raven
Raven was one of countless ex-WCW stars to flounder in the WWF's Attitude Era. Everything which made Raven Raven was neutered. His on-the-nose entrance music was stock rock with no hints of the darkness and mystery within his character, and despite hailing from the Bowery, his dark t-shirt was replaced with a gleaming, Daz-white vest.
One of the most prolific shooters on the internet, Raven isn't shy about criticising an employer who twice failed to understand how best to position him (he was demoted to managerial and commentary duties back in the mid-90s).
The "cruel and vindictive" McMahon, according to Raven, intentionally botched the Invasion angle purely because he had to be the one with "the biggest d*ck in the room".
What has closed the door on a potential Raven return isn't merely that WWE aren't a fan of his candid shoots; they'd have barely any legends left to exhume if that were the case.
Back in 2008, he, Chris 'Kanyon' Klucsarits and Mike Sanders unsuccessfully sued Vince McMahon and WWE over their classification as 'independent contractors' - despite not being able to seek work or sponsorships from elsewhere.
He felt victim to the statute of limitations, but the headaches he would still have caused Vince McMahon and Jerry McDevitt mean you're very unlikely to hear any squawking after the Royal Rumble countdown hits 0.
