Why wasn't this a WrestleMania match? Granted, WrestleMania XXX was one of the strongest 'Manias in recent memory, but the company as a whole would have been much better served by placing this six-man banger on the Show of Shows. It was worth more than feeding Bray Wyatt to John Cena, that's for sure.

The feud between The Wyatt Family and The Shield came out of nowhere in early 2014, but once the six men were within striking distance of each other it all made perfect sense. Their first match happened at Elimination Chamber, a high-paced brawl that packed a huge amount into its 22 minutes and 42 seconds. The Wyatts proved to be the more cohesive unit, taking advantage of trust issues within the Hounds of Justice to establish legitimate supremacy in WWE.

This match also showcased to the world just how far ahead of his colleagues Luke Harper actually was. He was the glue that held the Wyatts together, the experienced ring general bringing ferocity and flow to the match. His interactions with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were particularly electric, harbingers of great matches to come.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
