Or, in other words, show somebody the wince-inducing Powerbomb delivered by Big Van Vader to poor Mick Foley during one episode of WCW's Saturday Night program. In April, 1993, World Championship Wrestling produced much of its programming in the relatively saccharine Disney MGM Studios. The Saturday Night show was routinely taped at Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, which limited the production somewhat as shows were self-contained in small venues. There were no limits whenever Vader and Cactus Jack hit the stage, however. The former was notorious for battering the latter within an inch of his life and there was nothing 'fake' about Vader's offensive strategy: he pounded Foley relentlessly and it wasn't uncommon for Foley to come out of matches with serious injuries. On the April 24, 1993 edition of the show, Vader nailed Cactus with a Powerbomb onto the concrete floor. It was an incredible visual, one which added an exclamation point to the weapon strikes and very real-looking punches both men delivered to the other. If nothing else, Vader vs. Cactus Jack always looked like a genuine fight, even if taking such a bump on the unprotected floor did have Foley contemplating retirement.
