10 Brutal Wrestling Moments To Show Non-Fans

4. Shane McMahon Hits 'Coast To Coast' On His Father

Shane McMahon's recent return opens up the possibility of this kind of thing (thankfully) happening again. At WrestleMania X-Seven, Shane was in the midst of a feud against his own father, Vince McMahon. Their battle was over Shane's recent revelation that he was the new owner of WCW, having become the groups kayfabe owner right under his father's nose. Non-fans won't necessarily care about the details, but they will marvel over the content of the match. McMahon versus McMahon proved to be a stirring brawl, once again showing that Vince is willing to suffer in order to provide entertainment. There's no way he can have had fun when his own son hammered his feet into a trash can resting against his chest. It was a move that could have backfired, had Shane not been able to make the leap across the ring, but it ended up looking awesome. Upon seeing the elderly Vince and the relatively normal looking Shane, some may remark that neither look like professional wrestlers ought to. In truth, neither ever have been, at least not on a full-time basis. That doesn't change the fact that they produced something special at WrestleMania, with Shane's 'Coast To Coast' dropkick being the highlight. It looked barbaric.
