10 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (Aug 8)

5. Will Cesaro Press His Case?

When Cesaro was drafted to Raw a few weeks back and gave a promo expressing his disappointment, you couldn’t help but feel for him. It looks like WWE might be taking that frustration and desire to excel, and using it to propel him forward.

Last week, the Swiss Superman defeated Sheamus to earn a future United States Championship title shot, but considering that Roman Reigns came out to confront Rusev, you have to wonder if Cesaro’s opportunity will either be fleeting or pushed aside altogether.

It’s strange to feel like he’s being brushed off, but with SummerSlam on the horizon and Reigns clearly being positioned to challenge Rusev for the U.S. title, it just feels like Cesaro could get left out in the cold. Maybe this is the start of Cesaro pushing for something for himself.

Or maybe Cesaro will come out and lose to Seth Rollins in the main event as he continues to be “this close” to breaking through.
