10 Candidates For WWE's Upcoming Women's Tournament
6. Thea Trinidad
Thea Trinidad broke into the wrestling business as Divina Fly, but she's best known for her time as Rosita in TNA Wrestling. As the kayfabe cousin of Sarita (current WWE trainer Sarah Stock), Rosita made a splash in the company's knockouts' division. The two captured the Knockouts' Tag Team Championships from Angelina Love and Winter shortly after Rosita's debut.
They'd eventually lose the titles to Tara and Brooke Tessmacher, but their alliance would expand to include male wrestlers Hernandez and Anarquia. Dubbed 'Mexican America' (despite the fact that Rosita is Puerto Rican-American and Sarita is Canadian), the stable didn't last very long. Rosita was largely kept off TV in the fall of 2011, then spent most of 2012 in limbo before being released.
Still, she's continued her work on the indies, whether wrestling or acting as a manager for real-life beau Austin Aries. Her recent debut in Shine Wrestling shows that she's moving up in the women's wrestling scene, making a slot in the tournament a good idea for her.
