10 Candidates For WWE's Bizarre Post-WrestleMania 38 Push

5. Drew Gulak

Drew Gulak is a multi-talented bloke, and as a result, the last three entries in his Cagematch listing make for glum reading.

Or do they?

He worked SmackDown on November 26 and December 27 2021, and lastly on April 1, 2022. The matches, respectively, were the Black Friday, 12 Days of Christmas and André the Giant Memorial Battle Royale.

Notice a theme?

With the exception of the latter match, Gulak has appeared exclusively in holiday-themed outings. Cynical followers of WWE were recently told off for daring to suggest that the Becky Lynch Vs. Bianca Belair programme wasn't some intricate plan. We know now that WWE excels at long-term storytelling, which we should let play out.

With this in mind, analysing the breadcrumbs WWE drops to spark discussion about its plans, WWE therefore must have a new gimmick in mind for Drew: Mr. Holidays!

He missed Valentine's, but did play the April fool in the André, so expect him to dress up in lederhosen as Oktoberfest nears and pay tribute to the troops when the various armed forces-related holidays crop up on the calendar - which might draw the ire of another candidate, come to think of it...
