Urgh.

Listen to WWE's commentators in 2022 and they'll tell you that Charlotte Flair is a 13-time Women's Champion. That's six reigns apiece with the Raw and SmackDown belts, and one as the old Divas Champ. Neither of her two NXT Women's Title reigns are ever mentioned, and nobody knows why not.

Flair literally won that same NXT belt at WrestleMania 36 in 2020. WWE also briefly treated the brand as an equal (or at least an upstart rival) to Raw and SmackDown a few years back when NXT began airing on USA Network. So much for that, eh? One of the show's top titles can't even get a mention on TV.

The promotion did this with Seth Rollins last year too. His entrance graphic noted that he's a four-time former World Champ. That, again, sh*t all over the fact that he was NXT's first male champion. WWE went from talking up NXT to playing it down in a heartbeat.
