10 Changes WWE Should Make To SmackDown Live On FOX
5. Feature Brock Lesnar And Ronda Rousey Prominently
Considering FOX is paying WWE such an exorbitant amount of money to have SmackDown on their network, it's a given they'll want as many top stars as possible to bring in good ratings for Friday nights. Expect to see full-timers such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Daniel Bryan be prominent fixtures on the blue brand's roster.
But of course, we know it's not the full-timers who pop ratings nowadays. For better or worse, the big attention-grabbers are the part-time celebrity members of the roster like John Cena. With him, of course, are UFC legends Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar. Right now, Lesnar, the current Universal Champion, has an unclear future with WWE. It's assumed that he'll drop the title before preparing for his title fight with Daniel Cormier, but as everyone knows, Brock is always down to make more money. With the steady cash flow WWE is getting right now, they should make sure to have him available in October 2019 for SmackDown.
And of course, the new UFC Hall-of-Famer Rousey should definitely play a role on SmackDown. Given how FOX is losing UFC with the new deals, Ronda should fill the void as one of the biggest draws in all of mixed martial arts.
