8. The Outsiders

During their run in WCW, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were arguably the two most important players in the entire company outside of Hulk Hogan. The introduction of the New World Order in 1996 changed the fortunes of the Atlanta-based outfit, leading WCW into the promised land of ratings dominance... temporarily at least.

In the late '90s, Nash and Hall were virtually untouchable. Unfortunately for them, WCW wasn't; Vince McMahon put Ted Turner's once-thriving rasslin' company out of business in March 2001.

When the duo made their shocking WWF return alongside Hogan at No Way Out 2002, fans were excited, the locker room was on edge, but everyone was interested to see what would happen. Sadly, the answer was "not a lot", as the nWo revival was fleeting.

While the angle did instigate one of the greatest WrestleMania moments of all time between Hogan and Rock, from Nash and Hall's perspective, the nWo reformation saw little return. Hall lost to Steve Austin at 'Mania, while Hogan's return to the red and yellow left The Outsiders (and the nWo) in rebuild mode.

By May, Hall was gone as a result of his recurring demons. The nWo itself died just two months later, when Nash tore his quad.
