5. Too Cool

While Scotty 2 Hotty made a one-night return to take on Heath Slater in August 2012, it would be another year and a half before WWE invited the full band back for an official reunion.

Taking place on the Old School Raw on 6 January 2014, Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay reunited with Rikishi to take on the team of 3MB. Breaking out The Worm, The Hip Hop Drop and the classic dance moves of old, Too Cool turned back the clock to the year 2000 with their greatest hits. It was like they had never been away.

After their appearance at Raw, the original duo of Scotty 2 Hotty and Grandmaster Sexay returned to action just a few weeks later. Answering the open challenge of The Ascension, Scotty and Grandmaster took on the NXT Tag Team Champions at NXT Arrival, remarkably with the titles on the line.

The bout marked the first time the two had teamed up as a tandem on WWE TV since February 2001, leaving a huge 13 year gap between matches. Nevertheless, the two received a great crowd reaction and put in a good performance. Sadly, it wasn't enough to stop The Ascension.
