10 Classic WCW And ECW Storylines WWE Could Reboot

6. Raven/Tommy Dreamer Feud

WWE.comWWE.comSome of you may know about this, but many of you may not. In 1995, Raven and Dreamer started a feud the likes of which, in my opinion, hasn't been seen since. They feuded for just over two years, on and off, and Tommy never won a match until Raven's final match with the company before he left for WCW (and even then Dreamer didn't want to win the match, but Paul Heyman insisted). It incorporated several other members of the ECW roster and had lots of twists and turns. As with the Sabu/Taz feud, Tommy didn't lose popularity with the fans during the feud - in fact the opposite was true. It built and built and had the ultimate feel-good ending. It was a genius piece of booking. Would this work today? In my opinion, without a doubt! As with the best storylines, there would need to be enough reality at the start for the fans to accept the back story and both wrestlers would need to win matches in between the ones within their feud so as to keep their momentum. It would require attention to detail from not only WWE management but also the wrestlers involved. If they worked hard on it it could be a very successful storyline arc.
