10 Clues CM Punk Will Return To Ring Of Honor In June

9. Punk€™s WWE Contract Is Set To Expire In July

CM Punk might€™ve €œquit€ the WWE, but he is still under contract with the organization, which will expire in July. Although Punk€™s contract would also include the customary no-compete clause for 90 days, Punk can once again be considered to be the hottest free agent in professional wrestling once his contract runs out with the WWE. In 2011, the entire world was buzzing about CM Punk and his contractual obligations with the WWE, and even before the Money in the Bank PPV took place, he was considered to become the hottest free agent provided he didn€™t sign an extension with the company. WWE couldn€™t let CM Punk go, and both sides eventually reached an agreement and CM Punk decided to stick around for 3 more years. This time around, there is no possibility of that happening, and Punk€™s departure is imminent. CM Punk has been spotted recently at UFC PPVs and hockey games, and given the amount of interest Punk has once again generated among the professional wrestling fans, he can give Ring of Honor the €˜rub€™ by appearing on the show.
