10 Clues CM Punk Will Return To Ring Of Honor In June
10. ROHs First Live PPV A Chance To Make An Impact
Every major organization would want to make a huge impact with its inaugural live PPV, and in the process does everything possible to get maximum eyeballs for the show. If we turn back the history pages, we can take the examples of WWE bringing in big names such as Muhammad Ali and Mr. T in various capacities to generate buzz for the inaugural WrestleMania. Another such example would be the recent inaugural PPV of Bellator Fighting Championship - Bellator 120 which featured a stacked card, including big names such as Rampage Jackson, King Mo and Tito Ortiz. Similarly, Ring of Honor will be going all out to bring in some of the biggest names in professional wrestling, who also happen to be alumni of Ring of Honor. Although someone like Bryan Danielson wont be able to show up for the event, that doesnt stop someone who is not currently scheduled to appear for any major sports entertainment organization. If there is someone in the industry who can generate maximum buzz for Ring of Honor, one has to believe that it is CM Punk. Also, a mere appearance by Punk would be enough for Ring of Honor to do big numbers in terms of the PPV buy rate, and that will also plant seeds if/when Punk decides to return to the independent scene after his no-compete clause expires.
