4. Giving Away Far Too Many Free Trials
wwe.comWhen the WWE Network first launched on February 24th, there was a free trial for one week for all people signing up. The trial actually lasted for more than one week. People were not complaining, but it seemed a bit too generous for a company like WWE to do that. After WrestleMania XXX, WWE did another free trial. This was in response to the previously announced 667,287 subscription number. It seemed like WWE wanted to woo more people into signing up. Again, this was generous but seemed a bit like desperation on WWE's part. Now fast forward to now and another free trial is being offered. This time however, you don't need to fill in your credit card details. Now WWE is getting too desperate for their own good. As a consumer, a free trial is awesome. However, WWE must be so eager to get more WWE Network subscriptions by offering a free trial that doesn't require your credit card details. Not to mention the many times Micheal Cole keeps plugging the WWE Network and it's advertised on every YouTube video WWE uploads.
