10 Common WWE Things You Won't See In AEW
9. 50/50 Booking
With AEW adopting a record keeping system, we have already seen some interesting stories develop as a result. "The Best Bout Machine" has struggled out of the gate with a two wins and two loss record, The Dark Order look dominant going undefeated thus far, and appropriately, the AEW Champion Chris Jericho boasts one of the few remaining undefeated records. This type of storytelling the record keeping lends shows that AEW will have no room for 50/50 booking as has become so common in the WWE
Think about it, if Adam Page had taken the loss to Kip Sabian at Fight For The Fallen, that would conceivably be a very WWE-esque way to push a younger guy like Sabian- in that Page was already secured in being the title contender and could "absorb a loss" in a world where they're forgotten. But instead, AEW knew the importance of keeping Page at a perfect record prior to All Out to build the importance. A one in the loss column would've changed the legitimacy drastically.
Sami Zayn proved that a wrestler can be broken even in the world of WWE, as he is now relegated to manager duty. This will only be magnified in a company where the wins and losses are a key part of the narrative. This is why you won't see something like a Jinder Mahal-like overnight jobber to main event rise in AEW.
In fact, there may be no place for any jobbers.
