10 Complete Wastes Of WWE Pay-Per-View Time

7. Cutting Edge Peep Show (Fastlane 2016)

This is the most recent event to occur from this list, and it was undeniably a complete waste of time. As mentioned before, WWE have a different approach to their pay-per-view events than they perhaps used to, but this article proves that they've always been using time-wasting segments. In 2016, they're still at it, wheeling out Edge and Christian to kill some time in lieu of actual wrestling or storyline progression. At the recent Fastlane show, the Canadian duo presented an edition of the 'Cutting Edge Peep Show'. The talk show skit seemed to exist solely for The New Day to be confronted by the League Of Nations mid-ring, before absolutely nothing came of the entire segment. Fans around ringside know a time-waster when they see one, and interest was clearly lacking here. Admittedly, Edge and Christian can be funny on occasion, but only when the dialogue is good. It wasn't on this occasion, aside from a nifty reference to Lance Storm. Before the show, WWE hyped their appearance as one which would be interesting and entertaining, but it was mere filler. Meaning it was utterly pointless and desercing a place on this list.
