10 Completely UNHINGED Moments From WWE Video Games

4. WWE Stars Become Zombies (WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009)

Earlier, it was alleged that THQ's chiefs needed some inspiration come SD vs. Raw 2011's 'Road To WrestleMania' mode. Truthfully, that was nonsense. They'd been off the wall since the new feature debuted in 2009's game. There, The Undertaker turns workers like Fit Finlay and Santino Marella into day-walking zombies.

How rude.

In a cringeworthy add-on, Finlay and Marella have formed a fresh faction they call 'Nu-School'. All this was missing? Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit leaping out of a locker backstage to shout, "JEAH!" obnoxiously over and over again. Missed a trick there, development team! OK, perhaps that'd be a stretch. If anything could be a stretch for this nonsense.

The Boogeyman is involved as "The Man" too. It's a wonder he didn't try to take Becky Lynch to court and sue for copyright infringement a decade or so later. Another outlandish cutscene shows Boogey possibly murdering Kane by sucking his soul from his body. Nothing can top Finlay and Santino going Jolly Green Giant though.

Vince McMahon: "We make sweetcorn". Beyond The Mat could've been very, very different. Making sweetcorn > making movies.
