10 Conclusions From WWE RAW (June 15)
9. Barrett Buried, Truth Insane
King Barrett's silver vest, the one he wore on his way to the ring on the Money In The Bank kickoff show, has been discarded after just one outing. Barrett really needs to hold onto that particular positive, because there sure as hell aren't any other reasons for him to feel cheerful. A quick defeat on RAW against his opponent from Sunday, R-Truth, must leave the man who used to deliver the Bad News to everybody else feeling like his kingdom is cursed.
Barrett could certainly be forgiven if his current plight led to a spiralling descent into madness. R-Truth, however, is already there. After making his way out to the ring in a homemade robe and crown, and carrying a sink plunger in place of a sceptre, King Wassup seemed to be under the impression that he was providing commentary rather than having a match, plonking himself down at the announce table and addressing Byron Saxton as 'Coach'.
Once he had been set straight, Truth pinned Barrett for the second time in as many days - but soon found himself on the receiving end of some royal retribution. Barrett snarled at a prone R-Truth that his crown was prestigious and not to be made a mockery of - words that could just as easily be directed at WWE Creative.
