10 Most Controversial WWE "Wellness Policy" Scandals

1. Randy Orton

WWE.comWWE.comThere's a lot of clamour and discussion that although the three strikes policy is pretty tight, Randy Orton has somehow slipped through the net. He's been suspended by the company three times - and was even involved in the Signature Pharmacy scandal that saw Booker T eventually leave the company. However, the first of those bans wasn't for a Wellness Policy violation, so Orton is sat on two strikes. He was suspended for unprofessional conduct in April of 2006, before picking up another ban later that year. With that said, it's amazing to consider Orton is a multiple World Champion with the WWE. And in 2012, his conflicts with the Wellness Policy reared their ugly head again. Another 60-day ban was slapped on Orton, meaning he had to take a big hit in terms of the push he was getting around that time. As we know, he regrouped to become the first ever WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but Orton is very much on thin ice. A number of incidents away from the Wellness Policy, as well as the two violations themselves, surely mean that if Randy Orton gets in hot water again, he may be shown the door. And that would be the most controversial violation of them all, you'd have to say.
