7. Dolph Ziggler
WWE.comFans of Dolph Ziggler will know that it took a long, long time for him to properly break into the WWE mainstream. Sure, the Spirit Squad had a touch of relevance at one time or another, but they were never really going anywhere as a group - and neither was Nicky. But in 2008, all that changed. Some time away in developmental wrestling brought about a repackage - under the now famous Dolph Ziggler name. After all that effort to get onto the main roster as a singles competitor, you'd think Ziggler wouldn't do anything stupid, right? Wrong. Ziggler debuted on Raw in September 2008. He wouldn't actually get round to wrestling in a match until December, because he was suspended for a violation of the WWE's Wellness Policy. That may have been enough for the WWE to simply tell Ziggler where to go - but thankfully, they stuck with him. You'd like to think that tiny bit of faith they showed in him paid off. A couple of reigns as World Heavyweight Champion - and masses of popularity - prove that.
