10 Coolest Things We'll Miss About TNA

When the bullet eventually comes for TNA, these are the things we'll miss the most.

If you watch TNA Impact every week and are not blind, you€™ll see that there are a lot of problems with that company right now. Wrestlers are switching allegiances at a rate that€™s faster than Barry Allen on curry night, the booking is often tremendously dodgy (sometimes borderlining on abysmal) and the company is clearly struggling to stay afloat, both creatively and financially, in a very public fashion... To make matters worse, new ideas are introduced and then quickly discarded before they€™ve even had a chance to work and the TNA World title has been in the hands of more men lately than Katie Price on an average night out. That€™s not even the end of it. Over the last year or so, a lot of top stars have fled TNA like rats from a sinking ship, either in pursuit of bigger, better deals or simply because the company was no longer willing (or able) to pay out their hefty superstar salaries. In response, some wrestling fans have followed them out of the door. In short, it seems as if everybody and his wife is predicting doom for TNA. Articles about the company almost always have the off-colour odour of doom-merchant journalists smelling blood in the water and rapidly closing in for the kill. It€™s sensationalistic, but it€™s also easy to write and it makes money, so it is certainly easy to see the appeal... However, this piece is going to be a little bit different. Just for the duration of this feature, lets talk about all the good stuff that is going on at TNA RIGHT NOW. And, yes. There IS a lot of good stuff. TNA is still putting on good shows that feature a great roster. In fact, the company actually has a lot going for it. As an idea, TNA is still very much intact. Think of this article as a way of accentuating the positive, looking on the bright side and celebrating that, for all its faults, TNA is actually still a pretty good company and is still putting out an exciting wrestling product. So, with all that being said, here are 10 very cool things about TNA (or else some good stuff that TNA have been up to whilst you€™ve been busy writing them off and complaining about all the mess)...Enjoy.

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
