10 Coolest Things We'll Miss About TNA

10. There Is Room For Upward Advancement In TNA...

In TNA, there is a much smaller roster than the WWE and thus, there is a shorter journey to the top of the card. Although it has made its name on the back of ex-WWE stars like Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy and many, many others, those stars haven€™t dominated TNA€™s main events the way you might reasonably have expected them to. TNA€™s main event scene has always included talent like A.J Styles, Samoa Joe, James Storm, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode, none of whom are known to WWE-exclusive fans. Lately, there have been a string of first-time champs in TNA as well. In fact, four of the last five champions have been in their first run (not counting Bully Ray€™s blink-and-you€™ll-miss-it loss to Chris Sabin last year). Bully Ray€™s first title reign was interrupted by Chris Sabin€™s first reign. Bully then won the belt back and dropped it to A.J Styles. The next champion was first-timer Magnus, who then lost the belt to first-timer Eric Young, who, in turn, did the honours for first-timer Bobby Lashley. With the exceptions of Styles and Lashley, all of the men on this list received their first ever World Championship run in the last two years or so. In TNA, there is always room at the top.

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
