10 Coolest Things We'll Miss About TNA

7. The TNA Knockouts Division...

Tna Knockouts Women€™s wrestling doesn€™t get nearly the respect or attention that it should do. This is partly because female wrestlers have traditionally always been more of a sideshow than the main attraction and partly because major companies rarely invest a lot of time or money into their female talent. In pro wrestling, women can have long and storied careers as valets, managers or personalities, but female wrestlers always seem to struggle. TNA actually has a very strong Women€™s Division. Matches are at a good spot on the card and given a decent length of time to work. The women are allowed to portray interesting characters and given plenty of interview time to get their characters/storylines over. In that respect, the TNA €˜Knockouts€™ division is actually superior to the WWE€™s €˜Divas€™ division. TNA€™s Women€™s division is boosted by the presence of Gail Kim, who is an exceptional talent (as well as one of the best female workers ever), as well as ODB, who is never less than thoroughly entertaining and others besides, most of whom are good workers having generally good matches. TNA is probably the best place in the world to work if you are a female wrestler (Shimmer notwithstanding).

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
