10 Coolest Things We'll Miss About TNA

5. The In-Ring Product Is Still Very Good...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ue-32-D8K4 At times, TNA€™s shows just go nowhere and feature endless replays, promos, flashbacks and other nonsense. However, in the ring, TNA€™s roster is consistently brilliant. Last week€™s TNA Sacrifice event featured a stupefying matchup, as the re-united Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff), took on the TNA Tag Champs The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards). Honestly, this match was hotter than Lucifer€™s recipe for five-alarm chilli. The Wolves are maybe the best tag team working right now - and they have undeniable chemistry with The Hardys. The match was intense, spot-filled and athletically incredible. Throughout the tail end of 2013, Kurt Angle feuded with Bobby Roode in a series of matches that were powerful, explosive and technically excellent. The blow-off match (the aforementioned Steel Cage bout) was worked to perfection, especially as Roode sold the unstoppable Kurt Angle€™s last minute comeback as if he were facing death itself. The James Storm/Gunner feud was thrilling as well, as was Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Sabin in the title tournament, A.J Styles vs. Bully Ray at Bound For Glory and lots more besides. The storylines might be downright baffling, but you can still see quality wrestling matches on any TNA show. And, after all, isn€™t that what its all about when all is said and done?

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
