7. The Wall Challenges Hogan From A Mile Away - 27th May '96

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUJzj4DXHYE During an in-ring promo in an episode of Monday Nitro that took place outdoors, during which he was intended to address a half million dollar bounty that had been placed upon his head, put over new babyface contender Vampiro and continue his feud with rival Sid Vicious, Hulk Hogan was interrupted by€ €actually, no one could really see who had interrupted him. Someone€™s music was playing, and Mene Gene and Hulk somehow zeroed in on the top of a hotel roof, what appeared to be a good mile away from ringside. Spotlighted on top of the roof was new monster heel The Wall. The camera, which had zoomed in on him into a close-up (it€™s almost as if they knew), then pulled back to reveal that the huge Wall was€ well, tiny. In fact, no one at ringside in the audience could see him, or had a clue whose music was playing, or had any idea who had interrupted the Hulkster€™s promo. That is, until Hulk himself identified the man, shouting into the mic, €œThat€™s The Wall! That€™s The Wall, brother!€, begging the man to come to the ring to face him one on one. How Hogan was able to correctly pinpoint the identity of the faraway man on the roof remains a mystery to this day. Perhaps, in addition to his 24 inch pythons, the Hulkster had telescopic vision. Meanwhile The Wall, obviously completely incapable of hearing what Hogan was saying, continued to roar unintelligibly from a rooftop a mile away from the ring, miming chokeslam actions. The two titans wouldn€™t actually hit the ring together until later in the show, presumably because The Wall couldn€™t find a cab back to ringside in time.
