There have been rumors and calls for WWE to remove Donald Trump from the Hall of Fame after the events that took place on January 6, 2021, when pro-Trump supporters stormed the United States Capitol building. The former president was inducted into the celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame by Vince McMahon in 2013.

WWE legend Mick Foley has called on Vince McMahon to throw Donald Trump out of the Hall of Fame. Foley tweeted: "Hey Vince - how about throwing this sorry son of a b***h out of our Hall of Fame?". However, there has been no official statement from WWE regarding the removal of Trump from the Hall of Fame.

WWE has a history with The Donald, going back to 1988 and 1989 when Trump Plaza was billed as hosting WrestleMania. His most high-profile appearance came in 2007, when Trump and Vince McMahon became embroiled in an on-screen rivalry which culminated in the Battle of the Billionaires at WrestleMania 23.

There's petitions to remove Trump from the Hollywood Walk of Fame so fans on Reddit are speculating that WWE must be having a look at the storm brewing at the start of another election year. It'll be easier to get rid of him with Triple H at the helm, but will they have the guts to part ways with one of the most powerful wrestling fans in the world?

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
