10 Crazy Secrets From The WWE Writers Room

2. Always Avoid Hungry Vince

THE ULTIMATE THUMBNAIL
WWE

Vince McMahon may spend creative meetings munching through some steak, but that is forever a good sign for WWE writers.

As has been detailed by several people in recent years, the worst possible thing for a writer is having to deal with a hungry Vince. If he's been fed, chances are you'll get to pitch your latest idea to him. If McMahon is hungry, there's not a chance your latest genius storyline is going to get the nod of approval.

Chris Jericho is one person who had previously made mention of avoiding hungry Vince at all costs, and Le Champion again discussed this topic just last month when former WWE writer Court Bauer was a guest on Talk Is Jericho.

Backing up Jericho's claims, Bauer explained:

"It's the truth. We would always make sure that he ate at the beginning of the meeting. And we wanted to make sure his executive assistant was literally with him, flanking him as he came in, like, 'Thank God, she's got the roast beef wrap, because if she didn't, we're all f**ked!'"

Bauer would then go on to compare a hungry Vince McMahon to a tiger that hadn't been fed, while Jericho added that the other version of Vince you don't want is the one who is around someone who he "wants to try and show that his d*ck is bigger than."
