This has absolutely zero to do with how the standard day-to-day work of a WWE writer, but it's worthy of inclusion here just to how all-out nuts Vince McMahon can be.

Creative arguments and backstage temper tantrums are one thing, yet Court Bauer claims that McMahon once tried to run Bauer off the road for having the audacity of his vehicle catching up to his boss.

Speaking to Bryan Alvarez at the Wrestling Observer, Bauer - who nowadays heads up Major League Wrestling - explained how Vince challenged him to an impromptu drag race.

Having finished a creative meeting, Bauer and McMahon found themselves in the car park of WWE's Stamford HQ one evening. It was here that Vince offered up this most bizarre of challenges, with Court reluctantly agreeing to this race.

When his vastly inferior car managed to catch up with McMahon, Vince tried to drive Bauer off the road, forcing the shocked writer to slow down and leave Vince to it.

After Alvarez asked Court Bauer whether Vince McMahon tried to kill him, Bauer's response was, "Vince likes to win."
