There are some things the world may never know, like how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.

In very much the same way, pro wrestling, or in Vince McMahon's world, "Sports Entertainment," has always been an enigma; a riddle wrapped in a mystery. In the same way that moviegoers suspend disbelief when they go to the theatre, it is very much the same with the WWE and the world of Kayfabe, or the storyline'd WWE universe and its many ongoing plots.

Before the Internet was readily available, in the late '90s, there were some rather questionable angles that definitely wouldn't necessarily fly in today's PG Era. At a time where two major pro wrestling promotions were vying for ratings supremacy, each of them had a weekly opportunity to create a progressively edgier and edgier product. This made for some of this most edge-of-your-seat pre-reality TV that compelled you to tune in so that you'd know what was gonna happen next, whether you were a fan or not.

Even today, boatloads of angles that might not make sense in the "real" world make it through the net, fitting seamlessly into the accepted reality of wrestling...

10. Kofi-Mania

Kofi Kingston is one of the most athletically gifted individuals in WWE. If only all that mattered in the world of Sports Entertainment was pure skill, it might be a completely different landscape, but as far as WWE is concerned, less so after the steroid trial in the '90s, WWE has often been known as "The Land of the Giants".

Now, if you can argue that Kofi Kingston is an extremely athletically gifted performer. That being said, it was pretty clear to everybody up until fairly recently that his best role was suited as a tag team member of The New Day.

After an injury to previously-pegged challenge Mustafa Ali, Kofi was there as the perfect candidate to embark on a singles run and end Daniel Bryan’s reign as the smug, elitist, WWE Champion.

At WrestleMania 35, Kingston made a believer out of everyone who was ever told that they couldn’t achieve a dream of theirs. As Theodore Hurtszel once said, “If you will it, it is no dream...", and Kingston won the WWE Title by defeating Daniel Bryan on that night, proving the old adage still holds up: “Never say never in the WWE.”

What’s up fellow Pro-Wrestling FANADDICTS, (and yes, I’m a aware that is not the correct way to spell “fanatics,” but I thought since this was my introduction I’d ease everyone into my sarcastic sense of humor before just jumping off the proverbial high-dive.) ANYWHO, I have been OBSESSED, and not just because I legitimately was diagnosed at 8 years old with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, with Pro-Wrestling. It is BAR-NONE, my biggest passion in life. If I didn’t have to pay bills, I’d do it for free! (Work in the industry in any capacity).
