2. Roman Reigns Aligns Himself With Paul Heyman
Since the debut of The Shield in 2012, Vince McMahon had always earmarked the biggest member of the group, and therefore in his eyes the biggest draw, as the future top babyface to replace John Cena, who had his eyes on Hollywood, was ageing, and wouldn't realistically be around forever.
Roman Reigns had a rough going early on, between being shown up in promo segments by the aforementioned metaphorical torch passer John Cena, and being written lines he had to say such as, "Suffering' Suckatash!" like he was a Looney Tune.
