"On this day, I see clearly. Everything has come to life..."

If those words are to blurt out of Minute Maid Park's PA system, expect those in attendance - and the millions watching at home - to go completely wild.

Despite neck injuries forcing Edge into retirement in 2011, many have been hoping that the Rated-R Superstar's Spear on Elias during the SummerSlam 2019 pre-show might mean there's the faintest chance of some sort of return to action for the Hall of Famer.

Recent speculation has been rife that Edge could make his return to the ring imminently - potentially as soon as the Royal Rumble PPV - ahead of a big-money match at WrestleMania 36. And if you want crazy theories, one such crazy theory is Edge entering the Royal Rumble in the #30 spot to be the one to take down a dominant Brock Lesnar.

That would of course put the Canadian on a collision course for Lesnar's WWE Championship at the Showcase of the Immortals. And what's truly crazy about that is the idea of Edge and his history of neck problems taking a trip to Suplex City.
