5. The Foundations To Be Laid For Sting Vs. The Undertaker

We can all agree that seeing Sting face off against The Undertaker is something that should have been done a long, long time ago - not counting Sting vs. 'Mean' Mark Callous in WCW back in 1990.

The notion of this Icon vs. Icon contest has seemingly been off the table for a couple of years now, but just when you think that there is absolutely zero chance of Sting vs. Undertaker happening, the increasingly unlikely prospect rears its head again.

It was only this past December that the Stinger himself fanned the flames of speculation on this match still being a possibility.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, the WWE Hall of Famer enthused, "If there was a 'Taker situation at WrestleMania, I would listen to that phone call. I could get in condition and I could pull it off."

Given that The Undertaker has yet to officially hang up his boots, that technically means that a battle between these two juggernauts of the wrestling world isn't completely impossible. And one way to get to that point would be for Sting to cost the Deadman at the Royal Rumble PPV.

'Taker has yet to be confirmed for the Rumble, yet online scuttlebutt suggests he could well make an appearance at in the men's Royal Rumble match - and all it would take would be a simple crow-driven Sting video to cost him his spot and get this thing off to the races.
