10 Creative Ways To Make Roman Reigns WWE's Top Babyface
10. Stop Trying To Force His Charisma Issues
One thing WWE seriously need to stop doing is trying to force the idea of Roman Reigns talking at length. Worse yet, the writing is routinely ill-fitting for his overall character, and that comes across loud and clear most times he grabs a nearby microphone and has something to say. In October, a lengthy diatribe on Monday Night Raw did nothing to help him. That wasn't an isolated incident. WWE management can't expect Reigns to become their biggest babyface when he's allowed to bore everyone to tears with an overly-long promo. It's blatantly obvious to most keen-eyed followers on the industry that talking isn't one of the man's main strengths. That doesn't mean it's a skill he can't develop, but that requires time. Another problem lies in promo content, as well as length. The fact there's a 'Loony Tunes' style mash up of Roman's promo material on YouTube is not a positive for WWE. As far back as 2014, the guy was being booked to deliver some seriously hammy lines. It all felt forced. Thankfully, things did improve overall during his feud against Bray Wyatt, Reigns was much more short and sweet with his delivery. That's the way things should be.
