10 Creative Ways To Make Roman Reigns WWE's Top Babyface

3. Have Him Hunt Down John Cena

It's been said that Roman Reigns is like a pale imitation of John Cena. It's hard to argue with that line of thinking, especially considering WWE shoe-horned him awkwardly into delivering goofy promos and getting all smiley on camera. That's something Cena has been doing for many years, it really doesn't fit Reigns in the slightest. The creative team need to find a way for Reigns to become popular with more adults in the crowd. The product may still be 'PG', but there are still millions of grown up fans who deserve someone to cheer too. Unfortunately for WWE, they're not going to embrace the same kind of babyfaces that the kids will. That was a mistake that's hopefully been learned from with Reigns. By targeting John Cena, Roman would be going after someone many adult fans really dislike. Cena is considered everything wrong with the industry to a lot of people, but he's also one of the biggest stars under contract. That's how things could be explained, that Reigns wants to make a statement. It's simply business. and it's likely he would be cheered over Cena by adult males who prefer his bad-ass aura.
