10 Creative Ways To Make Roman Reigns WWE's Top Babyface

2. Don't Put WWE Title On Him At Survivor Series

The easy answer to WWE's current problems would be to crown Roman Reigns the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Survivor Series. There are rumours that this was always the plan all along, that Reigns would defeat Seth Rollins and take the belt on the Pay-Per-View. Seth's knee injury has thrown that potential match out the window, and it seems there will now be a tournament for the vacant belt. It's impossible to analyse Roman Reigns as WWE Champion before he actually holds the thing, but there's a chance the company could be rushing in if they give him it at Survivor Series. WrestleMania 32 has also been touted as an ideal location for Reigns to finally win the gold. At 'Mania 31, he was usurped by an invading Rollins, who snatched his chance to win the title away from him. By putting the WWE Title on someone else, ideally a heel, there would be someone for Reigns to chase. Fans need a reason to get behind Roman, and the feeling of injustice ca be a powerful tool. A lot of fans dislike the idea of Reigns being champion because it's clearly a corporate mandate from the top. If WWE can convince fans that they are the ones in control of when Reigns wins the belt, it'll be an infinitely more popular decision.
