Recently, Zack Ryder has been teaming with Mojo Rawley down in NXT. Collectively known as 'The Hype Bros', this represents a major step down for Ryder. NXT may well be one of the hottest parts of the overall WWE product right now, but it's fair to assume it's not where Zack wants to ply his trade. Sadly, creative don't have anything for him on the main roster. The man's character, 'Long Island Iced-Z' feels so outdated at this point. A change is really needed, and drastically. If Zack Ryder doesn't get a switch soon, there's a distinct possibly that it'll only be a matter of time before he's cut loose from the WWE system. Instead of that sad eventuality, the creative team should endeavour to give the wrestler a fresh outlook. At this point, Ryder himself must feel tentative to come up with his own ideas. He's already done that, attracted fans, and WWE management didn't seem all that interested. One idea could be to have Zack disown his fan-friendly persona, blaming the audience for why he's floundering currently. He hasn't been heel for years, so it could help show a fresher side of his personality.
